The SOC 1 reports on the suitability of the design and operating effectiveness of the organization’s internal controls over financial reporting for purposes of complying with laws and regulations, such as the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, and the auditors as they plan and perform audits of the financial statements. Receivables Management Association International (formerly DBA International) is the nonprofit trade association that represents more than 550 companies that support the purchase, sale, and collection of performing and nonperforming receivables on the secondary market. RMA member companies work in a variety of financial services fields, including debt buying companies, collection agencies, law firms, originating creditors, international members and industry-related product and service providers. RMA provides its members with extensive networking, educational, and business development opportunities in asset classes that span numerous industries.
